Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy describes uses that are not permitted when you use the hubzoid.com website, communicate with Hubzoid or receive implementation services, including agents that Hubzoid builds, deploys or operates for your organization. It forms part of the Terms of Service at /legal/terms and of any written agreement for implementation services.
Section 01
Scope
This policy applies to the website, to our forms and email addresses, and to implementation services and their deliverables while Hubzoid builds, deploys or operates them.
Your use of the open-source software on infrastructure you control is governed by the Apache License 2.0, and this policy does not restrict the rights that license grants. Hubzoid does not provide implementation services for any use that this policy prohibits.
Section 02
Illegal and harmful activity
You must not use the website or our services to do any of the following.
Break the law or help others to do so, including laws on fraud, consumer protection, export controls and sanctions.
Infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights of others.
Harass, threaten, defame or intimidate any person, or promote violence or hatred against people based on protected characteristics.
Create, store or distribute child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
Develop or operate weapons capable of mass casualties, or plan attacks on people or critical infrastructure.
Section 03
Personal data and people affected by agents
You must not use our services to do any of the following.
Process personal data without a lawful basis or without the notice and consent that the law requires.
Monitor employees or other people covertly, or in ways that the law does not permit.
Use an agent to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on people, such as decisions about employment, credit, housing or access to essential services, without the human review and safeguards that the law requires.
Collect or infer sensitive personal information, such as health, biometric or financial information, without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
Section 04
Security and system integrity
You must not do any of the following.
Access or attempt to access systems, accounts or data without authorization, or use an agent to give people access to tools or data they are not authorized to use.
Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of Hubzoid systems, except in line with the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy at /legal/vulnerability-disclosure.
Interfere with the operation of the website, including through denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated requests or attempts to bypass measures that protect it.
Upload or distribute malware or other harmful code.
Disable, bypass or tamper with authentication, access controls or activity logging in a deployment while Hubzoid is building or operating it, except as agreed with Hubzoid in writing.
Section 05
Communications and forms
You must not do any of the following.
Send spam, phishing messages or other unsolicited bulk communications through our forms, email addresses or services.
Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
Submit false information, or another person's personal information without their authority, in a project request or other message.
Submit forms automatically or in bulk.
Section 06
Regulated data and high-impact uses
If an engagement involves regulated data, such as protected health information, payment card data or special categories of personal data, the written agreement must expressly cover that data, and the controls it requires, such as a business associate agreement or a deployment design that meets payment card industry requirements, must be in place before any such data is processed.
Agents that support high-impact decisions, or that act in regulated or safety-critical settings, require an agreed design that includes human oversight and appropriate testing.
Section 07
Third-party terms
You must comply with the usage policies and terms of the model providers and other services that your agents use. A use that such a provider prohibits is not permitted under this policy.
Section 08
Reporting violations
If you believe someone is using the website or our services in breach of this policy, email contact@hubzoid.com with enough detail for us to investigate. Report security vulnerabilities to security@hubzoid.com as described at /legal/vulnerability-disclosure.
Section 09
Enforcement
We prefer to resolve concerns through discussion. If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may investigate, ask for the use to stop, pause or decline work, block access to the website, or suspend or terminate services in line with the Terms of Service and any written agreement, including any cure rights that agreement provides.
Where the law requires it or there is a risk of serious harm, we may report activity to the appropriate authorities.
Section 10
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services and legal requirements change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. For customers with a written agreement, material changes take effect as that agreement provides.
