This Cookie Policy explains how Hubzoid uses cookies and similar technologies on hubzoid.com, the choices you have and how to change them. It supplements our Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy.
Section 02
How we use cookies
We use a small number of cookies to remember your consent choices and to keep an unsent project request on your device. With your consent, we also use cookies to measure how the website is used and to record sessions so that we can improve it.
Optional cookies are not set, and the tools that use them do not load, until you consent. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

Categories of cookies
Strictly necessary. These make the website work as you expect, for example by remembering your cookie choices. They are always on because the website cannot provide these functions without them.
Analytics. These help us understand how visitors find and use the website, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors leave. This category covers Google Analytics and PostHog analytics.
Session replay. These let PostHog record how you interact with pages, such as mouse movements, clicks and scrolling, so that we can see where the website is confusing or not working. Text you type into form fields is masked and is not captured.

Strictly necessary cookies and storage
hz_consent. Provider: Hubzoid, first-party cookie. Purpose: stores your choice for each cookie category so that your choices are applied on every page and the banner does not reappear. Duration: 12 months.

Session replay
Session replay uses the PostHog cookie and storage described in Analytics cookies and does not set a separate cookie. It is available only when analytics is also on. When you consent to session replay, PostHog records your interactions with pages, such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and page changes. Text you type into form fields is masked and is not captured.
Recordings are kept for up to 30 days.

How consent works
When you first visit hubzoid.com, a banner asks for your choice. Accept all turns on analytics and session replay. Reject all keeps only strictly necessary cookies. Customize lets you choose each optional category. Session replay can be turned on only together with analytics.
Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are used, and Google Analytics and PostHog do not load. We use Google Consent Mode so that Google Analytics operates only in line with your choice, with its advertising storage and personalization settings turned off.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you have not yet made a choice, we treat the signal as Reject all, record that choice and do not show the banner. Analytics and session replay do not load. You can still change your choice through Cookie settings.
Rejecting optional cookies does not affect your access to any part of the website.
Your choice is stored in the hz_consent cookie for 12 months. After that, or if we add a new category of optional cookies, we ask again.

Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the website footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
When you withdraw consent, we stop analytics and session replay and delete the cookies they set on hubzoid.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.

Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and other site data. If you block or delete the hz_consent cookie, the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting data on any website. Your browser's help pages explain how to manage cookies and site data.

Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we change the cookies or storage we use. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we add a new category of optional cookies, we will ask for your consent before using it.
